Colavita/Sutter Home Men’s Cycling Team presented by Cooking Light Takes Top Two in USAF Cycling Classic's 150KM Circuit Race

Anibal Borrajo,  Davide Frattini, Luca Damiani, Gustavo Artacho, Kyle Wamsley and Sebastian Haedo of the Colavita/Sutter Home Men’s Cycling Team presented by Cooking Light had victory in their sights as they lined up at mid-day to contest the inaugural US Air Force Cycling Classic, one of North America's few UCI-ranked events.  The stellar men's field raced over the 12.5 kilometer circuit laps at speeds that only the strongest could survive. Represented in every breakaway over the rolling hills of Crystal City, the Colavita/Sutter Home squad controlled the race. With 15 kilometers to go, Andrew Randall (Symmetrics) launched a solo attack but he did not stand a chance against Colavita/Sutter Home’s lead-out train, led by Davide Frattini  Davide Frattini, Anibal Borrajo, and Kyle Wamsley, followed by Sebastian Haedo, the protected sprinter on the day.  One by one, the Colavita/Sutter Home men took their turns at the front until the lone Symmetrics rider was reabsorbed, 200 meters before the start of the fierce sprint to the line where Sebastian crossed first and Kyle second.
