Five-Time National Champion Tina Pic to Lead Colavita/Sutter Home Women’s Team at Southeast Criteriums
Kyle Wamsley Aims for Reprise of 2007 Victory
Linden, NJ (April 30, 2008) – Tina Pic of the Colavita/Sutter Home Women’s Cycling Team presented by Cooking Light, winner of the 2007 US Criterium Southeast Series, will return to the Southeast to defend her title at the Sunny King Criterium in Anniston, AL on May 3rd and the Nalley Historic Roswell (GA) Criterium on May 4th. Director Sportif Jack Seehafer announced that Pic will be joined by Tiffany Cromwell, currently ranked #4 on the NRC Women’s Individual Standings, Iona Wynter Parks, Shontell Gauthier, and Nichole Wangsgard.

The Colavita/Sutter Home Men’s Cycling Team presented by Cooking Light will line up a squad of champion sprinters for the inaugural US Air Force Cycling Classic in Crystal City, VA on May 4th. Director Sportif Sebastian Alexandre announced that Kyle Wamsley, who won the Crystal City Classic in 2007, will lead the squad. He will be joined by Sebastian Haedo, winner of the 2008 Sequoia Cycling Classic criterium, Anibal Borrajo, who finished 3rd in the Merco Credit Union Cycling Classic Road Race, Davide Frattini, Luca Damiani, Gustavo Artacho, and newcomers Tucker Brown and Rodney Santiago.
“The circuit format of the race complements the strengths of the Colavita/Sutter Home squad,” said Alexandre. “Our riders have the speed and strategy gained from extensive criterium-style racing to deliver great results.”
